Link is a URL-shortening and link-management application for individuals and teams. It combines short URLs, QR codes, campaign parameters, and click analytics in one dashboard, with a separate Payload CMS area for site content and configuration.

The dashboard gives users a place to create, find, and manage links. Custom aliases make URLs easier to recognize, while optional passwords and expiration dates provide more control over how links are shared.
Users can generate downloadable QR codes for short links and build UTM parameters for campaigns. These tools connect a single managed URL with both digital distribution and printed materials.
Link records visits and presents analytics for referrers, browsers, operating systems, and geographic locations. This gives users context about how their links are being used, beyond a total click count.
The repository includes Google and GitHub OAuth alongside email/password authentication. AgentMail powers verification and password-reset messages with action links and numeric codes. Token expiration and issuance limits support the account-recovery flow.
The application uses Next.js 15, React 19, and TypeScript. PostgreSQL and Prisma support application data, with Redis used for caching, redirects, and rate limiting. NextAuth.js handles application authentication.
Payload CMS 3 provides an administrative interface for blog posts, custom pages, legal documents, and media. Site settings control registration, public URL shortening, and available authentication methods without requiring a code change for each setting.
Tailwind CSS, Radix UI, and Lucide provide the interface styling and components. React Hook Form and Zod support form handling and input validation.
